It is my distinct honor and pleasure to welcome you to the NexGen Materials Engineering and Applications Summit (NexmatSummit-2024), taking place from September 23-25, 2024, in the vibrant city of Tokyo, Japan. As the chair of this prestigious event and President of M2N Technologies LLC, I am delighted to extend my warmest greetings to all participants.
This conference represents a unique opportunity for us to come together and share the latest advancements, research, and innovative practices in materials engineering. Over the next three days, we will engage in enlightening discussions, collaborative exchanges, and cutting-edge presentations that will undoubtedly enrich our professional knowledge and foster new connections.
I am particularly excited to discuss the material engineering challenges in quantum vapor cells. These quantum sensors and qubits, being developed in MEMS-based devices, utilize advanced materials such as optical films, thin film getter materials, and wafer vacuum bonding. Addressing the hermeticity issues requires creative material processing solutions, and I look forward to exploring these with you.
